No wonder I'm withdrawling further and further from the world.
Work on "Holy Shit" has progressed to nearly-complete status. About another 10 hours of quilting to be followed by the heart-wrenching decision: To bind or not to bind... We'll see.

If that review is in regard to your work, the reviewer is clearly a moron. I mean, any dumbass can write a nasty review in 5 words or less. Don't even give them a second thought no matter who they think they might be.
The ones that are worth paying attention to are the ones that can articulate what's good, what could be better, and why, and can do it with grace.
While all of your pieces are necessarily my style, I love your compositions, the movements, the colors, the lack of them, and sometimes the emotional story they tell. I think your work is great and if I were a quilter, I'd aspire to create like you do. Your pieces were what caught my eye, but you won me over emotionally with your piece with Buddy. I think I discovered something that most people don't see since they're busy examining the paint on the surface. Weird as it sounds coming from a total stranger, I think the world of you even from almost a continent away.
As for the haters? Fuck 'em.
BTW I think Holy Shit is great! OK, I can see where it might piss off the self righteous, but come on, does everything have to be taken so seriously? People say it all the time. This is just a pictorial version and why should it be more offensive? I love the color combo, the composition's wonderful, and the concept hysterical. Don't tell my mother though! LOL
